Sometimes the best soccer memories happen beyond the final score.
Our All In FC U10 Sugar Hill Girls recently received a special invitation to attend a UGA Soccer game, giving the team an unforgettable opportunity to experience college soccer up close and make some incredible memories together.
From the Dawg Walk to taking the field themselves at halftime, it was a night our girls won’t soon forget.
A Special Welcome to UGA Soccer
The experience began before the match when our players had the opportunity to participate in the Dawg Walk.
The girls greeted the UGA players as they arrived, handed out plenty of high fives, and then watched the team warm up and prepare for the match.
For our young players, it was a chance to see collegiate athletes up close and experience the excitement surrounding a college soccer game.
But their night wasn’t finished yet.
Taking the Field at Halftime
At halftime, it was time for the All In FC girls to take center stage.
The team headed onto the field for their own 5v5 scrimmage, getting the opportunity to play in front of the crowd and experience the field for themselves.
Then came an unexpected addition to the game.
The sprinklers turned on.
Instead of stopping, the girls did exactly what soccer players do. They kept playing.
The result was plenty of laughs, a few soaked uniforms, and another memory to add to an already special evening.
More Than Soccer
Experiences like this are part of what makes youth soccer so special.
The games and training sessions are important, but so are the friendships, experiences, and moments players get to share with their teammates along the way.
For our U10 Sugar Hill Girls, their night with UGA Soccer provided all of those things.
We want to thank UGA Soccer for welcoming our players and giving them an opportunity to experience college soccer in such a memorable way.
For our girls, it was a night filled with soccer, high fives, laughter, teammates, and memories.
One special night. A lot of happy players. And maybe a few future college soccer dreams sparked along the way.
